Money and documents
Money (credit cards), an I.D. (passport), medical documents,
hello cards, various member cards for discounts, etc. You should
keep these things somewhere safe. There are thin bags made for
that. You can wear them around your neck or under your clothes.
You can wear them when you sleep, too.
Medicines
Andol, vitamins, brufen, autan, and other medicines that you
need.
Flashlights
You should take it and you should also bring a spare light
bulb.
A camera
Not a too expensive one so that you wouldn’t have to take
care of it.
Walkman (with the radio)
Don’t go without it. If nothing else, you can hear a weather
forecast.
Tear gas
You can use it against the rabid dogs as well as against people.
A notebook and a pencil
To note down the instructions, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
Books
If you like to read, bring one book. When you finish it you
can take someone else’s.
The important trifle things
These things can mean so much in some situations: plastic
bags, a rope, a couple of clips, a tape, a lighter, a thread
and a needle…
