ISIC card

What is an ISIC card?
International Student Identity Card is an unique document which proves that the owner of this card is a student in one of the 100 and more countries in the world, where this card is valid.

ISIC offers you over 20.000 discounts in more than 100 countries.This card is one of the ways to save your money while travelling, being accomodated, visiting museums, movies and theatres…

From this year, you can use ISIC in Belgrade as well, at more than 100 places.Theaters, museums, galleries, tourist organizations, Belgrade Zoo, restaurants, computer schools, foto shops, video-dvd clubs, hair-dressing studios, fitness centers, computer shops… become available to you with discounts from 5 to 100%.

Who can use ISIC?
ISIC can be ised by students (older than 12). That means that at the moment when the card is issued to them, their student status has to be verified by any of the schools and colleges all across Serbia and Montenegro.

How long can you use it, how much is it, where can you buy it?
Price of the card id 325 dinars (5 EUR) and it is valid until 01/01/2004. ISIC is issued at the Belgrade Student Union, Balkanska 4/III. More informations at: 011/686-566

What documents do you need, to get your ISIC?
To get an ISIC, you need to have fotocopied the front page of your Local Student Identity Card (with all of the general informations about you) and the last verified semester. You also need a single photo 3x3,5 cm.

Now, you can aslo get an International Teachers Identity Card, which gives teachers the same discounts as an ISIC.

History of ISIC until the present day
ISIC was founded in 1968 in Amsterdam thanks to the ISIC Association, member of the International Student Traveling Confederation (ISTC), and UNESCO, who first understood the importance of traveling and meeting other cultures for young people all over the world...fali nastavak
