Lake Palić with its mineral water and mud bath has been a spa since the mid XIX century with a big park around it. At the turning point of XIX and XX century, when the town began to spread east, Palić became a popular and exclusive health-resort, vacation area of south Panonnia and citizens.

From that period, there are a number of picturesque villas, as well as monumental buildings in catering function (Water Tower, Big Terrace). This trend, with a slight slowing down at the beginning of the second half of XX century, again is growing, building new hotel facilities, sports recreation terrains and raising the level of spa tourism.

When visiting Palić, you should not fail to visit the ZOO (1945), which falls into the leading ones in Europe, according to its conception of organization and treating of animals.

It would be a shame not to visit the Tennis Club "Palić" (1884) in the Big Park (1856) and drink a soft drink in the thick shade of centennial trees in whose vicinity is the "Summer Stage" built at the very beginning of the second decade of XX century, which was again renovated and the International Film Festival "Palić" is organized there in summer.
