Although many people think
that we are in a bad mood towards the foreigners, they
are mistaken. Those who have visited Serbia, remember
it by the frankness and hospitality of our people.
We will present to you different types of accommodation.

Hotels
Hotel prices in Serbia are very high (overestimated).
If you insist on this type of accommodation, look for
the 4th and 5th class hotels.
Youth hostels
A few of them work (3) and they are in the Hostelling
International Network. The Ferial Union administers
them. Those are mostly object that have some other use
(hotels, student homes…) but the owners of the Hostelling
International Network member card are charged less.
If you decide to go there, read carefully
the booking instruction for it can sometimes be the
only way to rent a room. There are no private hostels
in Serbia.
Mountain homes
There is a great number of mountain homes at very interesting
locations. I can’t tell you more about them for now
except that the prices are ok.
Camping sites
There are 22 camping sites in Serbia as I have read
somewhere. In my opinion, that is not enough. Maybe
it’s because people are not very interested.
Private rooms
Private rooms can usually be rented in big tourist centers.
Prices can be favorable, but they can also be very high
(the same as in the hotels).
